Merry Christmas!
Pictures and videos of Big Stuff everywhere. This Photo Blog is friendly to kids.
This crane was used to replace an old bridge across and really wide body of water. Double bonus: check out the big mountains behind it!
This big machine strips the pavement off a road...with water! I've never seen anything like this before; have you?
This will help road crews lay down new pavement on a road, by removing most of the old pavement first. It will help the new pavement last longer, and that will save them lots of money.
Awesome!

Look at the size of these boots! They are very old, but were moved to a playground and repainted. Aren't they cool looking?
Here is another funny fact. Each one of these boots is a restroom for the park! You can find out more about them at this website:

This big jet uses a huge parachute to slow down when it lands. It is taller than your house. Wow!
This picture was taken in Alaska, which is the BIGGEST state in the USA.

Pyramids are big man-made mountains in the desert. They are made of massive stones that were put in place by hand. Kings in ancient Egypt, known as Pharaohs, were buried deep down underneath the pyramids. This picture is over 100 years old, and was colored by hand!
This truck was made by Studebaker. It's orange like a big pumpkin! This is the kind of truck that be used on the farm, with a flat bed of wood behind the truck cab and sometimes some wood sticking up the sides to make a big box on the back.

Wow! This thing is big and this picture and really cool! Do you see that big scoop? It can dig lots of dirt and rocks out of the ground. The big arm moves up and down, just like your own arm and elbow. And the whole machine turns around on the tracks, so it can drop the dirt and rocks anywhere.
Here at Big Stuff Blog, we usually show you pictures that are in Public Domain or in Creative Commons. This picture is NOT in public domain or creative commons, but the person who took it lets people share it with others on blogs like this one if you tell them who took the photo. I think it's a great picture; isn't it cool?

Here's a big train locomotive sitting in the rail yard. It uses diesel fuel for power and hauls big trains full of toys, airplanes, cars, garbage, and other stuff.
