Big Jet Powered Truck

This is an old pickup truck that is powered by a real Jet engine! Can you imagine how loud that is? They are also very fast. These kinds of trucks go to shows around the USA to show their tremendous power and fire.

Big Navy Fighter Jet

This fighter jet is nicknamed the "Goose Hawk," and helps men and women train to be Aviators. Aviator is what a pilot is called in the U.S. Navy. This jet can make landings on aircraft carriers like this one, miles and miles from any land. I like the red nose on this aircraft.

Two Big US Navy Fighter Jets

These are F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets. This picture was taken when they were flying past an aircraft carrier (like this one) and at very high speed. Can you imagine how loud that was? All that steam you see at the back of each plane is happening because they are traveling through the air faster than sound travels. That means they are "breaking" the "Sound Barrier." When that happens, the jet makes a very loud sound, sometimes called a sonic boom.

Big Helicopter Goes Inside Big Airplane

This helicopter fits inside an airplane.  It has to be a big big airplane for that to happen.  I don't think I have ever seen this before.  It is amazing.  This is in Alaska with the Air National Guard.  They can stick helicopters in airplanes all day long if you ask me because they defend America and Freedom.

Big Harrier Jet from Spain

This is a Harrier Jet.  It can take off like a helicopter straight into the sky.  This one is from Spain.  It is on a British aircraft carrier.  Lots of countries fly airplanes like the Harrier.  They are big and cool.  This website tells you more about them:

Big Russian Bomber and Canadian Fighter Jet

This is a Canadian F-18 fighter jet and a Russian Bomber. When President Obama was in Canada last week one of these Russian Bombers flew very close to the country. F-18 fighter jets flew to meet it and turned it around. The news story about it is here:

Big Fuel Tanker Jet

This is a big fuel tanker in the sky. It gives jet fuel to other airplanes when they are flying. It is very hard to do this. I do not want to try it. The picture was taken in the 1960s.

Big Air Force B-1 Bomber

This is a B-1 Bomber. It was supposed to replace my favorite bomber - the B-52. But the B-52 is too cool and big to replace so the B-1 bomber is going to be replaced now instead.

This is a jet airplane in 1946. That is a long time ago. It was flown by NASA pilots to test things like instruments and electronics. This jet also has wheels like a tricycle.

Big Air Force Cargo Jet

This fighter jet was one of the biggest and flew for the Air Force for a long time. It is one of my favorite airplanes.

Boeing 747 Jets are really big. I have never flown on one. I like watching them fly and go up in the air

Aircraft carriers are like a big cities on water. They carry lots of people and airplanes. Big airplanes.

This one is named for a US President named Ronald Reagan. He liked to smile and write lots of letters.

This big fighter jet is very fast and loud. Yesterday an airplane like this one crashed in California and hurt people. That is very sad.

B-52s are Big

I like B-52s. They are big and they are mean looking. There is something at Wikipedia about B-52s that tells you a lot about them.

There is also the B-52's Band. I don't like them much even if they have a cool name.
